Meet at
8:00AM this Saturday morning, 11 October at Burger Basket in Lake Los
Angeles for a breakfast burrito
before we depart for the trail.
This is a relatively easy run featuring terrain for everyone. From loose
dirt hill climbs to a little rock crawling. Easy lines to extreme. It
will be fun. Now, for the not so fun details...as of 1 Oct, El Mirage
OHV area is now a fee-based play area. Cost is $15.00 per vehicle. Towed
vehicles do not count as long as they do not leave and reenter the OHV

Oct 25th - (Big Bear Fall Run)
John will be leading a run to Big Bear on Saturday, October 25,
2008. Come out and experience the great fall weather in the
mountains! We will be running Gold Mountain trail to John Bull
trail, then if we have enough time maybe White Mountain or Dishpan
Springs. This will be a day run. Plan for cool fall weather and pack
a lunch! Vehicle Requirements: 4X4 with at least 31" tires (or
metric equivalent). Limited slip or lockers very helpful but not
required. Meeting
Time and Location: 0600
Saturday, 25 October (yes, I know it's early)
McDonald's in Littlerock (Hwy 138)
We
will caravan up from there. If you want to drive up on your own,
plan to be at the Gold Mountain trailhead before 0900. Trailhead is

PVD is an annual Cal4Wheel Event
held every year in Death Valley's Ballarat area located just north of
Trona. With runs from easy & scenic to extreme this is a great weekend.
Rough Rock Cafe is onsite all weekend serving up great breakfast and
